The Uttar Pradesh (UP) government has initiated the Right to Education (RTE) Act, which provides free and compulsory education to children from disadvantaged and weaker sections of society. Here are some key details about the UP RTE Free Admissions 2026:

Important Dates:

Phase - I
  • Application : 02-16/02/2026
  • Lottery : 18/02/2026
Phae-II
  • Application : 21 Feb To 07 March 2026
  • Lottery : 09/03/2026
Phase - III
  • Application : 12-25/03/2026
  • Lottery : 27/03/2026

Application Fee:

  • UR/OBC/EWS : 00/-
  • ST/SC : 00/-
  • Pay The Examination Fee Through Debit / Credit Card Net Banking UPI Online Mode Only

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Children between the ages of 6 to 14 years are eligible to apply.
  • The family's annual income should be less than ₹1 lakh.
  • The child should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Priority will be given to children from SC/ST, OBC, and minority communities.

Application Process:

  • The application process is online, and parents can apply through the official website of the Basic Education Department, Uttar Pradesh.
  • The online application form will be available on the website 

Benefits:

  • Free admission to private schools in Uttar Pradesh.
  • Reimbursement of tuition fees up to ₹59,000 per annum.
  • Free textbooks, uniforms, and other educational materials.

Schools Participating:

  • Over 20,000 private schools in Uttar Pradesh are participating in the RTE program.
  • The list of participating schools will be available on the official website.

  •  Look for Registration / Sign-Up Option: On the homepage, find the registration or sign-up option. This might be a button or a link that says "Register," "Create Account," or "Sign Up."

Third Step 

Fill out Required Information: 

You’ll likely need to provide personal information such as:

  • - Date of Birth
  • - Email Address
  • - Phone Number
  • - Address
  • - Any other relevant details

Fourth Step

  • Set a Password: Choose a strong password for your account to ensure security.
